Responsibilites

• Develop conceptual ideas together with interior designer for narrative & mood board
• Liaise with industry-related suppliers for material and technical coordination
• Research and develop for new interior design products
• Build and establish studio’s library
• To prepare full set of tender documentation with interior designers
• Accessorizing & styling for assigned projects
• Design custom furniture pieces in CAD (and SKP if possible)
• Generate full FF&E Budgets, schedules and specifications in Microsoft Excel form
• Produce specifications for all FF&E items

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma holder of interior design, textile or other related discipline
• 8 years of solid and relevant working experience
• Have local supplier contacts and strong knowledge in sourcing high-end FF&E and finishes
• Well presented, international and knowledgeable in global trends
• Strong understanding of luxury, lifestyle and art
• Keen eye for colour, scale, texture and patterns
• Familiar with the process of full tender package
• Be able to produce specification documentation
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Familiar with Mac base environment
• Willing to travel to factory and onsite visits
• Proficient in spoken and written English or Chinese is an advantage though not mandatory
• Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently handle hospitality / residential projects from design concept to site supervision / coordination during construction period
• Develop conceptual ideas for narrative & mood board
• Initiate design concept. layouts and material selection
• Handle presentation with concept diagrams, perspective drawings and other means to demonstrate the design
• Manage full sets of presentation and tender documentations
• Develop operational plans for team members, managing execution and measuring results
• Coordinate with internal design support members, professional consultants and project management teams
• Supervise and coach junior staff members in daily works, develop team capabilities, and contribute to team cohesiveness

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma Holder in interior design, architecture or other related disciplines
• Relevant experience in Hospitality, Residential, Restaurant and Show Flat Design, preferable exposed to top-tier luxury projects
• Solid experience in handling clients and projects from design stage to job completion
• Strong passion for design, creative, enthusiastic with strong sense for continuously improvement and exploring new ideas
• Excellent presentation with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle full set design drawings and specifications
• Able to handle multi tasks under pressure and dynamic environment, ability to meet tight schedules with confidence and willing to work overtime when necessary
• Strong technical background and well experienced in generating / reviewing design and construction drawings / specifications / documentations / shop drawings
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Keynote and common software, experience in operating in Mac platform preferable
• Excellent command of spoken and written English AND Chinese IS A MUST
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Immediate availability preferred
